On Saturday, Feb. 15, former Tahoe Truckee High School standout Derek Laferriere’s current college team, the San Francisco State Gators, won 18-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Menlo Oaks.

The game took place at Cartan Baseball Field. This was their first matchup against the Oaks this season.

The Gators’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 16 at 11 a.m. at Maloney Field against Menlo Oaks.
