College tuition fees fell 27.8% in Nevada County in the 2022-23 school year, according to the latest disclosure from the National Center for Education Statistics.

Data shows that students paid $14,118 on average to attend Paul Mitchell the School-North Tahoe courses at the time, less than the $5,426 charged for the previous school year.

For comparison, California universities charge students an annual average of $6,414 per year.

At the time, federal student loans reached $36,944.
