F.M Areias Dairy in Modesto, California was inspected by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on July 15 for monitoring of marketed animal drugs, feed, and devices and received two citations, according to data posted on the FDA’s official website.
The FDA website indicates that the citations were delivered to the company as follows:
‘Causing a residue of an approved human or animal drug above an established safe level, safe concentration, or tolerance, through use of the drug contrary to its labeling.’
‘Treatment records were not complete.’
The FDA routinely inspects facilities across the nation to determine if the workplaces and their products are compliant with FDA-regulated laws and regulations implemented to improve overall public health.
