On Sunday, March 2, former Tahoe Truckee High School standout Derek Laferriere’s current college team, the San Francisco State Gators, won 18-6 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Cal State San Bernardino Coyotes.

The game took place at Fiscalini Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Coyotes this season.

The Gators’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 2 p.m. at Maloney Field against Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros.
